About the Role
Program and supervise VMC and CNC turning machines using DELCAM & FEATURE CAM for high-precision medical equipment manufacturing.
Program and supervise VMC and CNC turning machines using DELCAM & FEATURE CAM for high-precision medical equipment manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming of VMC & CNC turning using DELCAM & FEATURE CAM software respectively.
- Hands-on knowledge of CNC & VMC Fanuc controller 3-axis machines to guide machine operators.
- Develop basic fixtures, clamping arrangements, and setup plans for complex components.
- Supervise CNC (Lathe) and VMC machine operations on the shop floor.
- Plan machining activity sequence to optimize cycle time and reduce turnaround time for jobs.
- Ensure regular upkeep, preventive maintenance, and calibration of CNC and VMC machines.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of tooling, cutting inserts, and machining sequence operations.
- Readiness to work in shifts to support plant production schedules.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma / B.E / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in CNC/VMC programming and machining operations.
- Proficiency in DELCAM, FEATURE CAM, and Fanuc 3-axis controllers.
- Strong understanding of machining sequences, tooling selection, and fixture design.
