Engineering Medicine.
Changing Lives.

Discover how India's only manufacturer of radiotherapy equipment is making advanced cancer care accessible globally.

Who We Are

Panacea Medical Technologies (PMT) was founded with a singular, profound mission: to make state-of-the-art cancer treatment accessible and affordable. In a world where advanced medical devices are largely imported, PMT stands proud as the one and only Indian developer and manufacturer of radiotherapy equipment, including Linear Accelerators (LINAC) and Cobalt-60 teletherapy units.

From our ISO-certified facilities in Bengaluru, India, our multi-disciplinary team of engineers, software developers, medical physicists, and clinical specialists design high-precision systems. We integrate electronics, embedded firmware, high-voltage physics, mechanics, and advanced planning software algorithms to deliver therapeutic radiation with millimeter accuracy.

By working here, you do not just write code or assemble components; you help design and sustain life-saving systems that treat thousands of cancer patients daily across India, Asia, Africa, and beyond.

Milestones of Innovation

Over two decades of pioneering medical technology in India.

1999

The Spark

Panacea Medical Technologies is incorporated in Bengaluru with a vision to research and develop high-end medical equipment.

2005

Bhabhatron-I Launch

Developed in collaboration with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Bhabhatron-I is launched as India's first telecobalt therapy machine.

2008

Global Footprint

Bhabhatron-II is developed and exported. The systems receive regulatory approvals and are donated to various countries through the Ministry of External Affairs.

2015

Pioneering LINAC Development

PMT embarks on the development of Siddharth — India's first indigenous Linear Accelerator, bringing state-of-the-art photon beam therapy to local communities.

2020

Expansion & Response

Our installations grow to cover leading cancer centers and government hospitals, treating over 100+ patients per machine daily.

2026

The Next Era

With 430+ staff members and next-generation Siddharth II systems in pipeline, we continue to expand our global reach and recruit passionate builders.

Our Core Values

The principles that guide our work, our decisions, and our interactions.

Purpose-Driven

Every design choice, line of code, and solder joint is made with the cancer patient in mind. We do work that matters.

Relentless Innovation

We tackle complex engineering problems that others avoid. We embrace curiosity, learning, and failure as paths to breakthroughs.

Uncompromising Precision

Radiotherapy demands perfection. We maintain the highest standards of safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

One Team (Panaceans)

We break down silos. Physicists, software developers, assembly workers, and customer service engineers work hand-in-hand.

State-of-the-Art manufacturing

Based in the technology hub of Bengaluru, our integrated facility houses all core divisions under one roof:

  • Research & Development: Electromagnetic modeling, high-frequency RF design, and embedded hardware laboratories.
  • Radiation Bunkers: Fully shielded concrete testing bunkers for active beam validation, dosimetry, and quality assurance under medical physicist supervision.
  • Mechanical Assembly: Heavy precision machining, gantry balancing, and robotic sub-system assembly.
