Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize image processing algorithms for medical imaging and radiotherapy applications.
  • Implement machine learning and deep learning algorithms for image feature extraction, segmentation, and enhancement.
  • Write high-performance, modular C++ code adhering to Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) standards.
  • Utilize GPU programming with CUDA to accelerate real-time medical image processing routines.
  • Handle DICOM, NIfTI, and standard medical image formats using frameworks like ITK, SimpleITK, and 3D Slicer.
  • Collaborate with clinical physicists and software engineers for integration into clinical applications.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • BE / B Tech & ME / M Tech in Biomedical Engineering / Medical Electronics / Computer Science.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in image processing, computer vision, or medical imaging software.
  • Strong proficiency in C++, OOP concepts, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms.
  • Hands-on experience with GPU programming using CUDA.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging standards (DICOM, NIfTI) and toolkits (ITK, SimpleITK, 3D Slicer) preferred.
